After weeks of planning and close collaboration with the incredible team at Google Canada, I’m thrilled to share the success of a workshop that brought together Achievers’ Data Engineering, Data Science, Development, and Product teams for a deep dive into the world of AI and Data. Held at Google’s brand-new Toronto office, the workshop focused on exploring the latest advancements in AI and Data through Google Cloud.
This event was a true labor of love. I had the privilege of collaborating with Tomy Chan and the Google team to design an experience that would spark ideas, foster learning, and strengthen partnerships.
From interactive demos to a high-energy brainstorming session (yes, the sticky notes were flying!), it was inspiring to see how quickly our teams connected ideas with impact. The energy in the room was proof that when great minds come together, innovation follows. We dove into everything from Google’s Gemini models to data governance, real-time analytics, and so much more.

Special thanks to the team at Google: Candace Shea, James van Kessel, Patrick Lecuyer, Nandini Poddar, Shwetha Vincy, and Michael Craig for working with us every step of the way and making this event truly memorable.
Grateful for the support from our internal champions (the VPs!) – Victor Comas, Chelsea Parry, Maryam Shoeybi, and all the amazing folks at Achievers who joined us.
So many smiles, so many ideas, and a renewed sense of what’s possible when we build together with AI.
