A NSince 2014, we are working to empower the young entrepreneurs and helping to grow and scale up the new businesses. Regarding that we have organized several workshops, events, hackathons, bootcamps, etc till now. #StartKoro is our incubation program for business owners, which has just finished its third year of motivating young entrepreneurs to fund start-ups focused on cutting-edge technologies and environmental issues. We are organizing this bootcamp conjugally with FNF Bangladesh from 2020 and in this year, Startup Bangladesh Limited and EMK Center were the strategic partners of the program.
We organized 3 virtual sessions for the mentoring and grooming support of the early-stage businesses. In the virtual sessions, 3 renowned business figures attended as speakers. After completing the virtual sessions, an in-person bootcamp was organized for the training purpose of the selected teams.
After the in-person bootcamp, selected top 12 participants were invited to attend the demo day at Hotel Sarina, where the young entrepreneurs presented their tech-enabled company concepts to a panel of experts. From those top 12, finally 5 teams were selected as winners.
Shawkat Hossain, a renowned Venture Capitalist of the country; Dr. Najmul Hossain, Country Representative of FNF Bangladesh; Omar Mostafiz, Program Manager of FNF Bangladesh; Nasima Aktar Nisha, Director of E-Cab; Mustafizur Rahman Khan, Founder of Startup Dhaka; and Sayma Rahman, Founder of SR Ventures were the special guest and members of the jury board of the program.
